Tournament Trail is proud to support the Tight Lines For Troops Charity Fishing Tournament May 19th in Manistee. We’ll be on hand for the official weigh in at Seng’s Marina Saturday afternoon. Prior to that we’re asking for your help to welcome the participating vets back to shore. If you were on hand last year you certainly remember what an emotional and moving scene it was as the boats returned from the big lake to be greeted by hundreds of people standing along the pier holding American Flags. This year Tight Lines wants to take it step further by lining the entire Manistee Riverwalk – from the US-31 Bridge all the way out to the piers – with more people and more flags!
There are 13 flag distribution points along the Riverwalk and members of Rolling Thunder will be at each handing out loaner flags. Of course, you can also bring your own flag, but the most important thing is to just be there! Families, groups, teams, etc. Everyone is welcome and the more the merrier. All we ask is that you let us know your coming so we can evenly distribute everyone along the Riverwalk.
