  1. NORTH & SOUTH NO MORE - The tournaments are no longer divided by geography.  Best Overall Divisions are strictly Pro & Am.  That means you can pick from any of the 16 Tournament Trail Events to establish your score.
  2. FISH ALL YOU WANT - Unlike last year, in 2009 you can fish as many tournaments as you like to establish your score.  But take note - after your third tournament each time you attempt to improve your score the new score will count even if it's worse than your lowest score.

YOU DESERVE A BONUS - There will be 3 categories of bonus points in effect for the 2009 season:

Strength Of Schedule (SOS): This will award bonus points based on the number of boats competing in the 333. Basically the bigger the field, the more bonus points each team in that field will receive. Here's the point scale:
    - 100+ Boats:  5 Bonus Points
    - 80-99 Boats:  4 Bonus Points
    - 60-79 Boats:  3 Bonus Points
    - 40-59 Boats:  2 Bonus Points
    - 20-39 Boats:  1 Bonus Points
    - 01-19 Boats:  0 Bonus Points

    Consistency:
This will award bonus points based on how well you do over the season.  It will be calculated using the following formula:  Average Score divided by 10
    ex: You have a 90, 95 & 100 for your 3 scores.
That is an average of 95.
    Divided 95 by 10.
Consistency bonus would be:  9.5 points

    Risk:
Because each time you attempt to improve your score you take the risk of posting a lower one, you will receive one bonus point for each tournament you fish.

Together these bonus points will make up a small percentage of your score, but they might be just enough to help you jump up in the standings...

That's the basic changes.  If you have any questions about them you can email me or give me a call anytime:
