Best Overall

The 333 Championship Series Best Overall division offers circuit-wide cumulative scoring that covers each and every event on the Trail. We’ll be tracking teams all season long and posting the weekly standings on Fishing And Hunting Forum – the Official Online Forum of the Tournament Trail! Follow along through out the season, or better yet – get involved! Here’s how it works:

333 Best Overall uses a point system to level the playing field across all Tournament Trail events. Each team is scored on how many teams they beat at each port as opposed to how big their 333 catch was. First place gets 100 points, 2nd gets 99 and so on down the line. We then add the size of field bonus which is calculated as 10% of the amount of boats that competed in the 333 at each individual port. For example – if 61 boats are competing at a 333 event, the Size of Field bonus is 6.1 points. Those points are added to your port rank, so the winner would get 106.1. 2nd place would get 105.1 and so on.

Best Overall is open to all teams regardless of Pro/Am Status. It takes (3) 333 scores to establish your cumulative score. If you fish a 4th we will automatically drop your lowest score. At the end of the season, the top 10 teams will be invited to compete on the following season of Salmon Showdown and the Best Overall winner will be featured in the next issue of the Tournament Trail Magazine.
